I am going to give it a few more days to settle and install wordpress and see what a differents it makes. I will not add any more links for a week. I am entering the SEO Idol SEO contest run by Shiree Odiz.

I registered our domain today makeityourringdiamondengagement.org
I am working on creating the content for the contest and should have it up by the 19th.
I put up a tempory basic SEO page and will add a few links while I am building the site.
I think google will like my domain name and I should be able to get in the top 100 by the time I am done creating a good site.
I will also try and get this site listed for Diamond Engagement rings
I am now being listed at number 2 or 3 for SEO contest
I was number 1 not long ago old links are still working
update this post has made it in the top 100 in under 16 hours looks like we have another entry we are going to enter this post. adding required links.
I have been leaving this site on very cheap host for the last few years. It lost it page rank the first time the host vanished. I moved to another cheap host page rank came back on next up date. Then host vanished on me again. so this time I am getting a better host and hope to get page rank back and do something with the old doamin of mine. I have won a fee SEO contest and do prety good get sites listed. I’ll post more about that later.
SEO Tip #1 get a good host
Avoid very cheap host like those you find on ebay for less then 10 bucks for years of hosting they will just dissapear on you after a few months. If you have lots of domains like me it hard to keep up with all your web hosting.
SEO tip #2 get lots of host if you have multiple sites the search engines like thinks to look unique IE are on different host. Have all your links coming from the same IP is almost the same as having duplicate content in the search engines eyes.
